While watching Anderson Cooper in Times Square
So Happy New year everyone! We were watching Times Square NYC version of a new year celebration on TV this morning. Then we thought, why can’t we have our version of something like that? Even in a relatively small city (compared to NYC), that could happen right? Here are some of the reasons why, you know, it’s really great to have something like that.

1. It’s cheap (for the people going there)
2. It’s super festive (bonggga)
3. It’s bringing a community together. CDO’s a small city, meaning people know each other more or less, it’s gonna be fun
4. It’s a very good potential for fundraisers (thinking about the devastation of Sendong here in my city)
CDO already have it’s weekend night cafe, why can’t it not have a New Year’s version of that… right?
Well, the cons would have to be… lemme see.
1. Security… as always
…….
I can’t think of any more cons.
So I’m hoping that some New Year, we all gather in the center (DV Soria, most probably) and just celebrate together? Or probably in the uptown area, like SM extra lots? Or something? That would be great!
BTW, CDO will rise. You know what it is!
